This 2-day Introduction course helps you learn about the tools and features available in Storyline 3. We will help you understand how this eLearning program can create slick presentations through the use of simple drag-and-drop tools.
With our help, you will learn how to produce interactive eLearning projects perfect for desktop and mobile devices. Our course covers how to handle video, create survey questions, software simulations, and more.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:
This course is designed for those who are new to interactive design and development and who want to develop skills to work with Articulate Storyline to build intuitive, attractive and accessible projects.
You will need basic PC or Mac skills, including a solid understanding of a computer's operating system (Windows or Mac OS). You will also need to know how to launch a program, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media.

This course is provided at the XChange Training London training centre based at:

EC1M 4BHSt John’s Lane is located in the heart of Clerkenwell close to the junction of Farringdon and Clerkenwell Road. Farringdon tube & train station is just a few minutes away and the training centre can also be accessed from Chancery Lane and Barbican tubes in about 10 minutes. There is also easy direct access by bus from Waterloo (243) and West End (55) with nearby stops.
Daily course times run between 10am and 4:30pm with an hour break for lunch and both mid morning and mid-afternoon refreshment breaks. We recommend arrival at 9.45am for registration on the first day of the course.

Overall, Simon was great and the course covered a lot in 2 days. We had plenty of opportunity to ask questions and covered enough content to confidently go and play with the application. It would have been great to view more working examples of Storyline projects and then unpick how they were put together - this would require a longer course than 2 days though.

I would have found it helpful to have a task set out, and go away and try it having practised something similar first. A bit more practical application. It was quite a lot to fit into three days.

Fantastic few days of training - trainer Simon was knowledgeable and helpful, but also very responsive and flexible according to the varying needs of each of the learners. Plenty of opportunities to practise, ask questions and clarify understanding, and great group dynamic in the room. Really enjoyed this course!

Such a useful course with examples of techniques that can be taken away and utilised in day to day tasks. Simon was informative and modelled many of the techniques before supporting delegates in trying the different approaches.

My only comment would be that we did not get the joining instructions and meeting invitation until the day before the course which I understood why when I rang to ask if we were getting them but if I hadn't put it in my diary it could of been forgotten about quite easily. Not sure if there is a way you can send a placeholder invite confirming place booked and you will receive links and instructions a day before the course as you can just update that initial invite.

The course was well structured and covered the basics of using Articulate. Having taken part in a course on Articulate previously, there was a lot of material that was a good refresher but there were also a number of new things I picked up during the course which will be helpful going forward. The course also covered some new advanced content that I will have to practice more on to help me use Articulate more effecrtively.

Course led and delivered really well, good pace and interaction. Possibly could spend less time on topics that aren't essential or going to be used to focus on others. Training room has good facilities but don't like being in window less rooms! Joining email said lunch voucher could be used at various places - this was not the case as just a Sainsburys voucher given. Thank you for the knowledge, I now look forward to putting it into practice!

Very comprehensive course, certainly gave a brilliant view of what goes on 'under the hood', as well as covering all of the key functionality of Storyline. My thanks to Simon, very knowledgeable and a jolly nice chap! My only constructive feedback would be not mixing virtual with F2F delivery - very challenging for the trainer to juggle two audience and delivery medium types.

Simon was a great instructor - super-knowledgeable about the software to a very high degree. He was organised, punctual and had clear learning materials (which I will save and reuse). We covered quite a lot of ground during the session (as requested) and he responded appropriately, going at my learning pace - fast/slow as required. I think it would have been better if we had all made an entire presentation together from start to finish - I would follow along with what Simon did quite well and he was great but I wanted to have a go and allow myself to break it - this is probably maybe what i'll do following the course however.

I have really enjoyed expanding and consolidating my knowledge of Storyline 360. I had used it at work already for limited purposes having viewed a few tutorials but this really expanded on that and gave me more confidence in using the software and ideas to utilise it more at work. The pacing of the course was perfect for me and allowed for a little fun and creativity at the same time. Really helpful training and great trainer.

Alan is a fantastic trainer - extremely knowledgeable and willing to help, also when I had my own problems that needed solving. I was the only online participant in a hybrid setup and I felt very included and not forgotten about at all. Alan always checked to make sure I was doing okay and got me to share my screen to check progress and troubleshoot any issues. The pace of the training was spot on! Not too slow and boring and not too fast either. Whenever I did miss something, it was always okay to ask for something to be repeated and Alan was happy to do that. Overall, a great experience. I'm happy that I finally signed up and can't wait to roll up my sleeves and start making stuff! Thanks again and Merry Christmas! :D

Susannah was fantastic in that she gave us a detailed overview of the product while being honest about its pitfalls or limitations. We had freedom in the session to steer it in a way that was relevant to us while sticking to the core content. I really appreciated Susannah's patience with us as we are a hyperactive team and would absolutely work with her again!
