What are the key Microsoft skills to
know for office expertise?
The key Microsoft skills that can be used across an enormous range of roles are those that can be put to use in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. For Microsoft, creating, formatting and saving documents in different places in a useful skill that enables you to be efficient, and it is also useful to know how to edit, using features such as comments and track changes when collaborating. Excel can be used for various job roles, but having at least a basic knowledge of creating formulas is a great way to get started. When it comes to PowerPoint, being comfortable using the features and shortcut to create and engaging presentations that are on-brand is key.

I prefer training to be in a classroom, but as it was quicker to do this course online, I went for it. At first I couldn't hear Usha properly, but when she took off her headset, it was much clearer. Although, occasionally, the volume would go up and down. Usha was an excellent trainer. She was patient and talked me through what I had to do. The content was more than adequate for me. I left the course with a greater knowledge of Outlook (and shortcuts) and will use it going forward.
