If you read HTML emails regularly using a mobile device, you probably know that it’s an experience that can swing from awesome to awful. While an email newsletter can look superb on a desktop screen, when squeezed onto a small mobile screen, it can become absolutely unusable, with small fonts, narrow columns and broken layouts being common issues. Designing for mobile has become a necessary skill for HTML email designers.

This course will use the industry-standard HTML tool, Adobe Dreamweaver to create a HTML email that will display correctly on a desktop screen and also become responsive to adjust the layout to optimally fit a smaller mobile device screen.

Who should attend?

Graphic/Web designers, or people transitioning into an online marketing or website related job. At the end of the course delegates will have built a professional working mobile responsive HTML email. Some knowledge of HTML and CSS will be helpful but not essential. This course is designed as an extension to the 2 day Creation of HTML emails course.

- How to quickly and easily design and build an effective mobile responsive HTML email
- Learn the specific display requirements for mobile devices
- Understand the various distribution options
- Edit and optimise graphics and images to incorporate into your HTML email
Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:

This course is intended for those who are new to creating HTML emails in Dreamweaver and who want to develop skills to create attractive, effective email-marketing campaigns.

You will need basic PC or Mac skills, including a solid understanding of a computer's operating system (Windows or Mac OS). You will also need to know how to launch a program, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media.

As a bespoke course the date arrangement is based around your requirements and availability in our schedule. With your guide of when you are looking for the training we will advise suitable date options ahead of finalising the planned date(s).

Can the content be tailored to my requirements?

Yes we are flexible about tailoring content and can adapt to be fully based on your requirements, a mixture of content from different levels of our base courses or a base outline with some additional focus areas.

Can this course be delivered live online?

Yes we can provide the same bespoke course as a live online session connecting to you or your group with either Zoom or Microsoft Teams if preferred.

What is the cost to deliver the course onsite?

We are equally able to deliver our bespoke training onsite at your premises and the cost to deliver this is the same structure as classroom with the addition of basic expenses depending on your location. Onsite courses in and around London, Manchester and Glasgow are usually without additional costs.

Can the course include my work samples?

It is often possible to review and include consideration towards sample files however the main course content is usually structured around prepared examples which are best suited to the planned content and structure of teaching the required skills in the best format.
