Dreamweaver CC HTML Emails 2 Day
Course Details
Delivering mailshots to promote products and services has become standard business practice over recent years. However, designing professional looking HTML mailshots presents a significant challenge particularly with design. We have no control over which email client program a recipient uses. Recipients may also use hand held devices to interact with their email.
For a web designer, CSS is now the standard method of formatting and laying out a web page. Unfortunately email client programs tend to ignore CSS embedded and external stylesheets leaving the recipient looking at a broken design that looks nothing like the original intent. This course is designed to meet that challenge and look at how we can design and format an HTML mailshot using CSS InLine styles and confidently predict how it will look on most email client programs.
This hands-on course is designed for new Dreamweaver users who wish to design and create HTML mailshots. No previous experience of Dreamweaver or HTML is required. However, those attending should be familiar with their operating system and their email client program.
This 2 day course is a more comprehensive extended version of the creating HTML emails with Dreamweaver for 1 day with the content more in-depth including the surrounding considerations of HTML emails such as avoiding being seen as spam, testing control, black list avoidance and best writing strategies for effective emails.
Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:
This course is intended for those who are new to creating HTML emails in Dreamweaver and who want to develop skills to create attractive, effective email-marketing campaigns.
You will need basic PC or Mac skills, including a solid understanding of a computer's operating system (Windows or Mac OS). You will also need to know how to launch a program, create and save files, and copy files from CDs and other media. -
