Fab introduction to Adobe Animate - moved at a swift pace and covered lots of elements, but it was still delivered in a way which was easy to follow and understand. The notes/movies which have been provided for after the training was over are going to be a huge help as I continue my learning journey in Adobe Animate.

Alan was an excellent instructor. He catered to the content to my requirements. I found it valuable to see an expert in their practice. The city centre venue is good but the room was a little hot after a while, though Alan did turn on an AC unit. I don't think there's much you can do about this. 1-day 1:1 tuition is good but it has a high pace - a lot to practice afterwards. Please pass on my thanks to Alan.

It was a good experience. I came in with a self taught level understanding of Animate so it helped understanding a lot within Day 1 and Day 2. I was very pleased to understand the different options and capabilities Animate had to offer which ofcourse I was only scratching the surface. Overall Alan was very clear and concise with the training delivery, very patient with us remote learners. I understand most of his training, personally the coding bit is something I will have to go back in my own time but the rest is very applicable to my day to day work and future projects. I am very happy with Alans training.

I really enjoyed the course, however I think I would have benefited from some break away sessions so #i could practice the new skills we had just learned. I also felt the pace was a little fast in places. However, overall an enjoyable and very insightful course on Adobe Animate. I'm looking forward to playing with it now Thank you

Course was very well structured, with good pacing. Didn't feel overloaded with info, and at the end we were creating things that were very complicated. It's good that the full course notes and examples are sent to us after the course - I will make good use of these.

This was my first experience of an online course, it went well and I was able to follow and gain the knowledge I needed. I like the fact that all the files and instructions were given before the course so that any parts I missed or struggled with I could go back over the exercise and practice it.

I think the description around the contents of this course could have been slightly more clear, as I was expecting a few other elements of 2D animation to be involved (frame by frame for example) but the teacher was excellent and really helpful answering my questions about other elements to the best of his ability.

I feel a lot more comfortable using the software. I gained more knowledge about the features and abilities of the software, which has motivated me to use it in the future. Philip's been extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting me in figuring out and using Animate. i would definitely want to come back for more training!

Alan was the best. Thank goodness for his patience and understanding with our technical issues - Teams seemed to slow down our software and Alan had to retrace his steps many times with complete professionalism. We all wanted to throw our laptops out of the window! His knowledge was second to none, he knew common and uncommon mistakes before we even asked about them. This was reassuring and for me personally, more useful than some of the exercises at times, as I am guilty of 'double clicking' on everything which takes you away from the task you're working on, but Alan knew where we'd gone wrong immediately. I would recommend Alan teaching anyone in an instant; he was excellent.

Alan had planned a really fantastic, well thought out training session and his knowledge was invaluable. Everything was fully explained and he was extremely patient when he needed to repeat himself. Excellent tutorial. We managed to iron out quite a few technical issues at the beginning of the day which did eat in to our schedule a bit but that was a very minor detail. Maybe going forward for these types of one to one day sessions it might be worth having a separate half hour session beforehand (maybe the week or day before) to set up file transfers and iron out any issues? Saying that, I'm completely satisfied with this session and can't thank Alan enough for passing on his amazing knowledge of the software.

Course was fast-paced and initially it was difficult to make notes at the same time. Later realised that instructor Allen had included course notes as part of the course files. There is far more than can be covered in two days but Allen did really well to take in as much as he did.

Very patient trainer - good pace and manner and able to modify when we had some issues to overcome or different pace on tasks on group. Answered all questions and very good knowledge. Some very helpful tips and provided a wide range of additional assets and materials we can refer to. Covered more that I expected and feel happy to know more than enough to get started in the software. Better than expected using Teams rather than previous training in workplace.

Alan was fantastic. Explained things very clearly and was able to answer any questions we had, often giving actual examples and talking us through the process. He was very patient and took the time to make sure everyone was up to speed and had a good understanding before moving onto the next step. He was also able to give us links to further resources and other external websites that we could use in the future.

Only feedback would be to use more up to date graphics. Some graphics used looked a bit dated. I know this was an intro on how to use the actual software so the graphics used doesn't really effect that, but it was just a thought.

I really enjoyed the training provided, and thought that the pace of the course and the content was excellent for beginners in Animate. I felt we were given enough knowledge and confidence to try and work through some of the more basic items on our own. I think the written notes provided for each exercise is a fantastic addition to the course material, as it meant we weren't trying to take notes while training, and could concentrate on what was happening on screen. The notes will be great to refer back to if we either work through the examples again ourselves to build confidence, or for referring back to when doing stand alone projects. Thanks Alan!

I really enjoyed the training. Kevin was on time, highly knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions, putting me at ease and making me feel like if I didn't quite get something, it wouldn't be an issue to stop and go over it again. Considering it was just a one day course, I learnt enough to be able to understand how to put together a good quality interactive animation, which was the objective we had set at the start of the course. Highly recommended and I'll certainly be back if time and budget allows in the future!
