Premiere Pro Advanced 2 Days
Course Details
This 2-day Advanced course will help to develop your skills as you explore the advanced features of Adobe Premiere Pro. You will already understand the basics of the program, and we will show you how to take that knowledge to the next level. Together, we will cover advanced tips, tricks, and lab exercises that will help your video projects stand out.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

- Create time lapses
- Work with alpha channels
- Synchronise clips from multiple cameras

- Fix audio issues and add audio effects
Our goals are for you to understand the advanced features of Premiere Pro and to become a confident power user.
Course Target Audience and delegate prerequisites:
This course is intended for those who wish to enhance their existing knowledge of Premiere Pro and who would like to learn advanced digital-video editing skills.
You will need basic experience in using Premiere Pro. Ideally, you will have taken our Adobe Premiere Pro CC Introduction 2 Day course.

Full Course Outline
The following is a general outline. The range of topics covered during your training is dependent upon student level, time available and preferences of your course booking.
Understanding the Proxy Workflow in Premiere Pro- As cameras get bigger and bigger sensors the file size of the content gets bigger and bigger and can bog down the editing process such that it may seem like only very fast and expensive machines can edit such content. However, the new proxy workflow in Premiere Pro allows for the creation and use of low-res versions of the bigger files which can then be editing on any machine that can run Premiere Pro and then exported from the bigger high quality files rather than the lower resolution proxies. We will cover this workflow in detail

M1 2APPiccadilly House is located in the heart of Manchester directly next to the Piccadilly Gardens transport interchange with excellent bus and tram connections and is easily accessed from Piccadilly train Station (5 mins). Victoria station is also close by (around 10 mins).
Daily course times run between 10am and 4:30pm with an hour break for lunch and both mid morning and mid-afternoon refreshment breaks. We recommend arrival at 9.45am for registration on the first day of the course.

Overall a very good start to editing - with a good over view on most tools and basics. Would have preferred more work related knowledge (a round of knowing professions from the class so can maybe see what's most appropriate) but understand thats difficult if 8 very different career types.

I recently completed an Adobe Premier Pro with Simon. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with getting us to understand Premier Pro from scratch, which was important to me as I had no previous knowledge/experience with the system. There was a good balance of theory and practice, and he gave us plenty of time to try out the features ourselves and make/edit our own video.

I've really enjoyed this course. The instructor is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything in an easy to understand manner. Day 1 was focused on learning the essential terminology and key functions which was a great set up for Day 2 where we were given the opportunity to put that knowledge into practice across a number of short demos. I definitely feel more confident now using Premiere Pro as a video editing tool that I can take into my role and share with my colleagues.
